The EcosimPro TPCS toolkit (Two-Phase Capillary Systems), currently an internal Iberespacio’s tool, will shortly be available for its commercial distribution. This new toolkit is a state-of-the-art solution for the simulation of thermal control systems for spacecrafts: Loop Heat Pipes (LHP) and Capillary Pumped Loops (CPL).
TPCS calculates the transient response of thermo-fluid networks with complex topologies including several evaporators, pumping systems or tanks, coupled with the corresponding control loops. Its components have been successfully validated against experimental test results under liquid, gas or two-phase conditions.
