EcosimPro will be presented at the International Conference on Environmental Systems (ICES 2010) to be held in Barcelona, Spain, from 11-15 July. The simulation tool’s new capabilities for building complex multidisciplinary models in the area of environmental control for spacecraft will be featured, including the latest version of the ECLSS Library. This library contains the typical components found inside a spacecraft, such as the cabin, the astronauts and the CO2 removing system. EcosimPro can also model sophisticated experiments and improve the design of new equipment. To demonstrate this, the modelling of Loop Heat Pipes (LHPs) using a new library developed over the last few years will be explained. Engineers from ESA, NASA, Boeing, etc will be present at the conference.
