Madrid (Spain). Last November 14th 2024, the Simulation Department of Empresarios Agrupados hosted an inspiring workshop in Madrid about Digital Twins in the Industry. The event took place at the Gómez Pardo Foundation (ETS Ingenieros Minas), in the center of the city.
The event brought together over 100 professionals from leading energy companies in Spain such as Acciona, Enagás, Endesa, Naturgy, Siemens, Schneider, Johnson Controls, and many more.
We were thrilled to showcase our new EcosimPro TwinLab, designed to develop digital twins from our powerful multiphysics simulation tool, EcosimPro (multiphysics+ML+control+MMI+PI system). Additionally, the workshop featured fascinating real-world applications made with EcosimPro of digital twins, presented by experts from:
- CERN: Digital twins for the LHC Cryogenic systems, ventilation systems,etc.
- ESA: Large Space Simulator for testing satellites
- SONAE & Univ. of Valladolid: Applications in the wooden board industry
- Nuclear Power Plants: live digital twin for secondary cycle power plant
- Hydrogen & Methanol Plants: Twin technology for electrolyzers and H2 networks
- Johnson-Control and BDTA: digital twins of buildings
The workshop concluded with a networking lunch, where participants exchanged insights and ideas about the exciting potential of digital twin technology.
