Power failure to a feed pump
This example represents the analysis of transients in a pipeline caused by power failure to the feed pump. The flowsheet is depicted below:

Sequential start-up of two feed pumps
This example represents the sequential start-up of two feed pumps with the circuit full of water in a circulating water system.
The aim of this example was to check if the opening time of the discharge valves is adequate so that the pressures in the system do not exceed the tolerated limits.
