Professional libraries
A suite of libraries has been developed for productive environments and respond to typical simulation problems in a vast range of fields related to space, aeronautics, thermal cycles, hydraulic systems or process chemistry.
These libraries are independent of the tool and supplied separately. Each one includes the corresponding user manual and a wide range of examples which help users to get started and understand the scope of its capabilities.
In addition, EA Internacional offers à la carte support services for the development of new libraries or the improvement of existing libraries.

| THERMAL_BALANCE |
Professional thermal balance library. The purpose of the THERMAL_BALANCE library is to carry out steady-state heat balances in typical power station systems (classic water-steam and co-generation power stations). The library contains a wide range of ready-to-use components that amply cover all the needs to model these types of systems.

Demonstration libraries
Default EcosimPro installation includes numerous basic libraries designed to give users an introduction to the tool and demonstrate how it can be used in different fields.
These libraries include the functions, ports and components used in a large number of simulation applications such as math functionality, and items of the signal control or handling type, and they can be used to develop other libraries such as thermal system simulation. Furthermore, the user can access and modify the source code while learning, although its use for real problems is not recommended because it is meant mainly for educational purposes.
One of the EcosimPro manuals is completely dedicated to the introduction to system modelling with EcosimPro ("Simulation Guide" which can be downloaded from the Download section). It describes in detail how each of the libraries has been developed and gives a series of examples for users about to face their first problem developing libraries for EcosimPro in a specific field.
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| DISCRETE_LIB |
It demonstrates the main concepts and elements of EL which are necessary for modelling discrete events.
Although EcosimPro facilitates system modelling with continuous and discrete formulation simultaneously in this library, only those which are characteristic of discrete simulation (the events) are shown.

| FLIGHT_SIM |
It illustrates the more advanced concepts and elements of EL, befitting a professional library, which are necessary for modelling mechanical flight systems.

| GRAVITATIONAL |
It illustrates the more advanced concepts and elements of EL which are necessary for modelling mechanical celestial systems.
It particularly demonstrates the definition of a gravitational interaction port and the generation of celestial body components.

| HYDRAULIC |
This library illustrates the more advanced concepts and elements of EL which are necessary for modelling hydraulic systems.
It particularly demonstrates the definition of a hydraulic port, the generation of hydraulic systems by inheritance, and the inclusion of components from other libraries by the definition of control systems for hydraulic systems.

| PHYSIOLOGICAL |
It illustrates the more advanced concepts and elements of EL which are necessary for modelling physiological systems.
It particularly demonstrates the definition of a blood circulation port and the generation of components to represent different organs and parts of the human body.

| TURBOJET |
This library illustrates the more advanced concepts and elements of EL which are necessary for modelling gas turbines.
It particularly demonstrates the definition of fluids comprising different chemicals and the handling of thermodynamic functions.
