THERMAL_BALANCE LIBRARY
The THERMAL_BALANCE library is used to carry out steady state thermal balance studies in typical power generating plants (water-steam, cogeneration, etc).
This library contains a wide range of ready-modelled components which cover all needs to model these types of systems; ie, pumps, compressors, valves, pipes, motors, heat exchangers, condensers, turbines, evaporators, electric generators, cooling towers, etc.
The library is prepared to work not only with water, but also with air, oxygen, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, helium, argon, methane, propane, butane and sulphur dioxide. Users will also find it easy to add new fluids.
The schematics generated with EcosimPro are similar to the layout of the plant, which allows to easily identify any part of the model.
Ports description
- Ambient_Air: This port type represents wet air flow connections.
- Gas: This port type represents gas flow connections.
- Shaft: This port type represents the mechanical connection, transmitted power and rotational speed.
- Water: This port type represents gas-liquid water flow connections.
