Empresarios Agrupados at the ASME TURBO Expo 2014

Empresarios Agrupados presents its latest version of PROOSIS, the aeronautics gas turbine simulation product, at the ASME TURBO EXPO 2014 fair in Dusseldorf.

The EcosimPro/PROOSIS team at Empresarios Agrupados, made up of engineers specialized in aerospace simulation, attended the ASME TURBO EXPO fair in Germany this past June to present the most recent version of their PROOSIS product for modeling and simulating aeronautical gas turbines. PROOSIS is currently one of the most advanced software packages in the world for modeling 0D and 1D aeronautics motors, and is used by important companies such as Airbus, Snecma, Turbomeca, etc. in the design of their
new motors.

PROOSIS is a mathematical simulation and modeling tool that offers flexible and reliable solutions to simulating gas turbines and other aeronautical components (cockpit environmental control systems, electrical systems, fuel systems, etc.). This is a multi-disciplinary tools for working in groups among the different companies involved in the design and development of a gas turbine.

PROOSIS provides tools for the conceptual design of a motor, facilitating the impact analysis of the different configurations and preliminary sizing of the equipment, single-point and multi-point design; addition of transient or stationary restrictions, parametric studies, sensitivity analysis, mission analysis, optimization studies, etc.

This latest version includes new capabilities such as utilities for designing and optimizing new
motor configurations, new algorithms to solve systems of equations in real time and exporting models to hardware cards such as black box, etc.

At the fair, PROOSIS was demonstrated to engineers of renown companies of the sector such as General Electric, Pratt-Whitney, Rolls-Royce, Boeing, Airbus, etc., who were able to see for themselves how the product can help design new motors and lower their development times. For instance, PROOSIS is currently being used to model new open-rotor motors, which the European aeronautics industry is currently designing and testing. PROOSIS is also being used to model the Vinci and Vulcain space engines.

Their other product, EcosimPro, is the official tool of ESA in the area of space propulsion, and
many different European companies working on designing rocket and satellite propulsion systems use EcosimPro and the ESPSS libraries (European Space Propulsion System Simulation) developed by ESA.

Regarding PROOSIS: EcosimPro and PROOSIS are both products developed by Empresarios Agrupados Internacional that have become acknowledged worldwide as referents in simulation, used by prestigious organizations in the areas of aeronautics, space, energy, etc.
