On the majority of occasions, electrical system behaviour is linked to phenomena of other disciplines; for example, in the case of an electric machine in which the electrical variables of the internal circuits depend on the rotational speed and the moment on the axis; or in a solar panel in which, along with the light conditions, the generated current depends on the cell temperature.
In summary, when it comes to simulating electrical systems it will be essential, when applicable, to represent these dependencies. ELECTRICAL is a standard library, supplied with EcosimPro, which contains the basic components for building electrical and electronic systems. It provides a multitude of basic components with different simplification levels, both active and passive. In addition to the classic elements of these disciplines, the library includes more specific elements for electronic systems or transmission lines, and elements to connect with other libraries. Of course, thanks to object-based modelling, these elements can be used to generate new, more specific or personalised components.
